about Blossom Out

Vision

At Blossom Out, I believe in a working environment that creates structures and enables true equality, especially for women — beyond role clichés and the pressure to fit into existing systems.

Instead of urging women to perfect themselves, I support organizations on their journey toward a new work culture: FAIR, INCLUSIVE, and READY FOR THE FUTURE.

WHY

I founded Blossom Out because I’ve often witnessed how much potential is lost when companies remain stuck in rigid, often male-dominated structures.

What we don’t need are more pink programs for women — what we do need are structures that work for everyone. Today’s modern leaders want to lead differently, and they want to do so consciously.

Driven by my values and a deep belief in sustainable leadership and honest reflection, I want Blossom Out to open up new perspectives.

Lisa Sbitnew - Founder of Blossom Out

I see how much effort women (and men) put into their work — and how hard companies often try to keep up. I want to help create a world where it’s not just people who have to adapt to structures, but where structures evolve to meet the needs of future generations. Work cultures that are fair and based on equality create a sense of security — and allow potential and creativity to unfold freely. A true win for both sides.

What has shaped me. What I create.

Independence

With Blossom Out, I’m taking a completely different path. I’m working on the topics that truly move and inspire me. A new chapter — one that’s not only incredibly bold, but just might turn into something big.

Achieved my goal?

Eight years after starting my professional career, I reached the goal I had originally set for myself: At one of Germany’s five largest associations, I became not only head of department but also managing director of three industry associations. A great career — but something was missing.

Ready for a refresh!

Breaking down old structures and encouraging new ways of thinking were the goals I set out to achieve during my work for the foundation — and I did so successfully! Working in an international educational context, I built a new program from the ground up, including assembling a brand-new team.

Eager to learn

Yes — I was lucky enough to start my career right after university at one of Germany’s top five associations. Excited to be working for one of my dream organizations, I eagerly absorbed everything I could get my hands on: political work, press and public relations, trade fairs, and networking.

Establish the basics

I’ve always had a strong interest in both international topics and sustainability. I earned a B.A. in European Management from TH Wildau, followed by an M.Sc. in Organic Agricultural Management from HNE Eberswalde — with a study stay in Spain in between.

Far away

Young, fresh out of high school and with a bit of retail experience, I first moved to London. After that came Ireland, and then I headed to beautiful Western Australia. There, I lived and studied, completing two pre-study courses: one in International Trade and another in International Business.
